Accredited and regulated

i-care is approved by Cardiff council, enabling us to provide home care services on their behalf.  We are also regulated by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), which inspects us annually and produces a report based on their findings. i-care is able to care for all aspects of mental illnesses, physical disabilities, learning difficulties and sensory loss or impairment.

Highly trained and police checked

All our carers undertake an intensive and carefully designed recruitment, selection and training programme.  All i-care staff successfully complete mandatory training courses such as Manual Handling, Protection of Vulnerable Adults, First Aid, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene.  They also complete specialised courses such as Dementia Care, Alzheimer’s and Stroke Awareness. This ensures we have a diverse, competent and committed workforce.
Each carer is also police checked to Enhanced CRB Disclosure level for safety and peace of mind.
